Genaro Torres founded GTC Consulting in the United States and Virtus in Mexico, firms focused on leadership and change management to enhance organizational talent. He is a bicultural executive coach and business consultant who collaborates with leaders in organizations in the United States and Latin America. He has taught in the San Diego Community College District and collaborated with the San Diego Organization Development Network, has led the mentoring program of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in San Diego, and for his volunteer efforts, received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Society for Training and Development. Genaro is notably a Sensei committed to the practice of Karatedo.
